Not just another talking-head webinar (though we love those, too!), our first online offering, the Sustenance Series, combines thought leadership, advising, camaraderie and community, art and wellness into a unique, participatory experience that will leave you feeling intellectually and emotionally nourished and supported. We will: 1) share knowledge, 2) learn together, 3) support each other, and 4) celebrate art, wellness and connection to each other and the natural world.
Because the collective and the growing Road Openers community span multiple geographies, we’re excited to convene virtually for these sessions. Sign up for individual sessions or all three!
Registration: $35 each or $90 for all three
The inaugural series includes:

May 15, 2025: From the Studio to the Stage (and Back): Navigating a Practice as an Artist, Producer, and Performing Arts Presenter
Featuring Eric Oberstein, GRAMMY & Latin GRAMMY-winning Producer, Curator, Arts Leader, Educator & President of Eric Oberstein Productions
Join Road Openers founder Priya Sircar in conversation with Eric Oberstein — multiple GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY-winning producer, curator, arts leader, educator, and founder of Eric Oberstein Productions, an NYC-based artist management and producing company, and arts management consultancy — for a conversation that explores how we can wear multiple professional hats — artist, producer, presenter, and more — and use that expertise to navigate the arts ecosystem and do transformative work. Drawing from 15 years experience working with artists and managing arts organizations, Oberstein will tease out how, in his role as an arts entrepreneur, he collaborates with artists and organizations to clarify their goals and then builds environments with those clients to do their best work. Priya and Eric will also discuss the unique work that creative producers do as collaborators with artists in the development of new artistic projects.
Bring your questions, challenges and ideas for Eric, as this session will include a portion dedicated to advising and workshopping your projects with Eric, Priya and the group!

May 29, 2025: Creating Cohesive Communities through Intercultural Arts
Featuring Mosaic America, Cultural Arts Curators & Community Builders
Shared social experiences, especially story-sharing through music, dance, crafts, games, and visual arts, encourage dialogue, understanding, and empathy among different groups. These interactions break down stereotypes, build trust, and cultivate a sense of belonging, enriching the social fabric of a community.
Priya Das, Mosaic America’s Chief Programming Officer, will share compelling evidence of how co-created cultural experiences are reaching across socio-economic, generational, and language barriers to catalyze cohesion and belonging in one of the most diverse regions in the world–Silicon Valley. She will explore how diverse cultural expressions create an inclusive mirror in which to see our collective selves.
Priya will share a guide to understanding, connecting, building trust, and engaging with your diverse community, presented through fun pictures and video clips of co-created experiences. Bring your questions, challenges and ideas for Priya, as this session will include a portion dedicated to advising and workshopping your projects with Priya Das, Priya Sircar, and the group.

June 19, 2025: Come Celebrate With Me That Everyday Something Has Tried To Kill Me And Failed: An Oracle Ritual
Featuring The TETRA, Performers & Practitioners of Racial Healing & Liberation
Intuition is the ancestral antidote to chaotic times. It is the practiced magic of self-trust, developing into clear, dignified action. And, through repetition, we have the power to strengthen it like a muscle, countering things like misinformation, building personal magic, and trading worry for belief.
So, on June 19, join The TETRA for their Juneteenth oracle. To oracle is a Black spiritual technology, designed by Black elders to access guidance through spirit and sacred text. The TETRA utilizes it as a ritual for developing individual and collective intuition, opening roads to new futures around our most pressing freedom questions.
Join us for a powerful communal experience–the culmination of the inaugural Sustenance Series.
